Portrush March of Witness | July 2017

It was a cool and blustery Saturday evening when a small group of young people met at Ramore Head to begin the March of Witness to the Amphitheatre in the centre of Portrush. Once there, where a number of people had gathered, the open air was commenced.

Mr Brian Lorimer from Ballymena FPC led the meeting, while Mr David Laverty from Portglenone FPC testified of the work of saving grace done in his own life. After Miss Jenna Malcolmson from Ardaragh FPC brought a message in song, Rev Graham Lucas from Garvagh FPC opened the Bible, speaking on the love of God and taking Romans 5:8 as his text.

The message concerning the marvel of God’s love, the manifestation of God’s love and the mercy in God’s love, provided those listening with a clear understanding of the gospel message. It is our prayer that the testimony of those who marched and read the scriptures, the words spoken and the messages brought in song, will be planted in the hearts of all those within earshot and we will know of a great ingathering of souls from this endeavour.
